During the reconstruction of the object of the former theatre in Olomouc in the city part of Hodolany the intention of the owner was to build a luxurious casino, a unique restaurant, hotel and a wellness. Our Acrea atelier was assigned to design the interior of the wellness. The wellness is predominantly designated for the guest accommodated in the hotel. The capacity of the wellness is 20 persons. The dominant feature of the layout is represented by a central space which besides wellness bar comprises a water bar in the form of a bigger stainless steel jacuzzi, in which the clients can have their drinks at the bar while enjoying the water directly in jacuzzi. The central space is linked with three saunas – Finnish, herbal and steam one while the steam one is glass-walled. After sauna the visitors can experience the so called experiential showers and a cooling pool.

The part of the facility is a massage with two massage positions for providing a favourite couple massages and the so called private spa comprising jacuzzi, Finnish sauna and a water relaxation bed where the relaxation – curative wraps are being offered.
The visual concept of the interior is based on the attempt to experience the atmosphere of the wellness primary designed for unwinding and relaxation. The visual material implementation is based on combination of the natural stone – green granite with ceramic tiling evoking rusty metal as well as combination of glossy materials such as glass and stainless steel. Light constitutes an important part of the visual context literally adding colour to the premises.
